When to call your physician or seek professional medical assistance
This list is not a complete list and users should always consult your medical professional when seeking assistance.
- A fever or temp of 100 degrees or high
- Chills or shaking chills
- Leakage from line site
- Monitor site for redness or warmness. Notify provider if either change is noted.
- Monitor central line site for drainage. Notify provider if noted.
- Do not force flush central line. Notify provider if line will not flush.
- If any area of the line balloons or enlarges, do not use. Notify provider.
